Computerworld Magazine Design & Art Direction. In 2007, after 40 years as a tabloid-style publication, Computerworld made the switch to a smaller magazine format. As Design Director, I managed the project along with the executive editors and with the help of a talented staff of designers. Primary objectives for the design were to retain the profile of an information-rich weekly news publication, but give it a current and timely look and feel, emphasizing the importance of in-depth technology topics.

Scottish Life Magazine Design. A refreshing break from the world of technology, my work with Scottish Life has given me the chance to design for a mainstream audience. The stunning photography is a pleasure to work with, and I strive for a clean, sophisticated typographic style that allows space for the photography to shine in this travel and lifestyle magazine.
